RR Donnelley & Sons seeks an Electrical Technician to install, repair, and maintain electrical lines, circuits and equipment for our high-precision testing environments in Greensboro, NC. You will troubleshoot, load new systems, and mentor colleagues to uphold safety and performance standards.

Candidates should demonstrate thorough knowledge of circuitry, hands-on use of tools and test equipment, and the ability to follow strict procedures.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Ability to formulate layout sketches, wire test setups and troubleshoot test equipment.
• Safety systems interlocks and complex warning systems must be understood.
• Anticipate danger signs and act to prevent downtime and damage.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronics components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, and fixtures.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
