Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, circuitry and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components in manufacturing.
• Ability to diagnose electrical problems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with resistors, capacitors, transistors and related circuitry.
• Skilled with testing tools, hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and safety controls.
• Strong attention to detail to identify potential equipment issues early.
• Ability to work a 12-hour overnight schedule in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, circuits, controls, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on production machinery to identify root causes and repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure safe operation.
• Install and test electrical components, instrumentation, and control systems per specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as needed.
• Verify electrical systems meet operational, safety, and performance requirements.
• Work with complex safety systems, interlocks, and controls following safety procedures.
