Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, WI, is seeking an Electrician – 1st or 2nd shift to ensure reliable operation of industrial electrical systems. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment, work with the maintenance team, and help improve plant reliability.

The role requires Journeyman Electrician experience, ability to read schematics, knowledge of electrical codes, and a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent teamwork and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience.
Ability to install and repair electrical components such as panels, breakers, wiring, and controls.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing).
Strong problem solving, speed and reliability.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and demo electrical parts of industrial equipment.
Ensure safe operation by adhering to electrical codes and regulations.
Log time and material usage in CMMS for PMs and maintenance.
Support preventative maintenance program.
Maintain housekeeping in all areas.
Assist in other maintenance tasks as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
