Job summary

Quad Hartford, WI is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at our Hartford manufacturing facility. This hands-on role focuses on 480V three-phase systems, motors, VFDs, relays, and PLC-controlled machinery.

A Four-year Engineering Degree is not required; Journeyman credentials or equivalent experience is preferred, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
• Experience with 480V three-phase power, motors, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Experience using PLCs as troubleshooting tools.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour compressed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose 480V three-phase power, motors, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Use meters and diagnostic tools to trace electrical faults.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use PLC software to troubleshoot equipment, trace ladder logic, and diagnose inputs, outputs, sensors, and interlocks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment installations and upgrades.
• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safe work practices.
