Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Tampa, FL is seeking an Industrial Plant Electrician to troubleshoot and maintain heavy plant electrical systems, switchgear, and process controls. You will work with PLC and HMI automation, adhere to LOTOTO and Arc Flash safety, and participate in a 24-hour emergency schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally a 4-year electrical apprenticeship, with strong NEC/code knowledge

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical blueprints, and PLC/HMI equipment.
• Ability to safely handle low, medium, and high voltages.
• Willingness to work in a heavy industrial setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred: Completed 4-year electrical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and modify heavy plant machinery, switchgear, and process controls.
• Install new electrical equipment and wire control systems for plant projects.
• Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-out schedule.
