Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our Harleyville, SC team. You will support manufacturing operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities include electrical repair, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with teams to optimize uptime. We value problem-solving abilities, strong math and organizational skills, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrical or minimum 2 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Welding experience required.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repair work, preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency call-out tasks on plant electrical equipment while following ESWP, NFPA70E and NEC regulations.
• Make recommendations for modifying PM plans throughout the facility.
• Recommend additional spare parts requirements to immediate supervisor.
• Comply with safety regulations and practices for this facility.
• Maintain integrity and general appearance of all electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot potential concerns to maximize productivity.
• Read plans, drawings and manuals to aid in problem solving.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Perform all electrical repair work, preventative maintenance (PM) and emergency call-out tasks on plant electrical equipment while always maintaining proper ESWP, NFPA70E and NEC regulations, good craftsmanship,quality and professionalism.
• Make recommendations for modifying PM job plans throughout the facility.
• Recommend additional spare parts requirements to immediate supervisor.
• Comply with all safety regulations and practices for this facility.
• Maintain integrity and general look of all electrical systems.
• Maintain reliability of equipment within standards.
• Work with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation, both within your work group and outside of your work group.
• Troubleshoot potential concerns required to achieve and maintain maximum productivity.
• Report maintenance problems to the immediate supervisor.
• Read plans, drawings and manuals to aid in problem solving efforts.

About You

We Require:
