Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical degree in a mechanical program is preferred.
  • At least one year of proven experience in a mechanical assembly role.
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints and pneumatic schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, drill motors, soldering guns, jigsaws, and pipe benders.
  • Background in rigging and safe handling of heavy components—preferred.
  • Ability to operate an overhead bridge crane—preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32”.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical tasks associated with sub-assemblies and final product in preparation for testing.
  • Provide mechanical troubleshooting and testing of subassemblies and final product.
  • Prepare and load final product for shipment.
  • Plan sequence of operation and understand effects of machine setup, material type, sizes, and end product.
  • Assemble equipment per drawings and blueprints, maintain torque values, ensure finished product quality.
  • Check completed work for conformance to specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Keep equipment in safe operating condition and area clean and organized.
  • Uphold health and safety practices of the company.
  • Verify that work meets quality expectations.

We are looking for a mechanically inclined team member who can adapt to different environments and tackle technical challenges. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, precision work with tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics while assembling and testing equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality production standards and contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions.

Your future role
  • Performing mechanical tasks associated with sub-assemblies and final product in preparation for product testing

Required skills

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • At least one year ofprovenexperience in a mechanical assembly role within a project-based shop environment
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints and pneumatic schematics
  • Proficiencywith hand tools, drill motors, soldering guns, jigsaws, and pipe benders and threaders
  • Background in rigging and safe handling of heavy components - preferred
  • Ability tooperateand overhead bridge crane - preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32”
  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills
