You will work with high-volume production lines, perform system commissioning, and support safe, compliant operations by adhering to GMP, LOTO, OSHA, and NEC standards. Excellent problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional experience as an Industrial Electrician in a facility.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust systems for industrial power distribution.
• Install and wire transformers, switchgear, distributors, MCCs, and panels.
• Route branch circuits for new machinery to ensure production continuity.
• Verify load limits, phase rotation, and voltage levels.
• Connect and commission production-line equipment.
• Relocate and reinstall existing manufacturing hardware as needed.
• Assemble enclosures, control panels, VFDs, and motors.
• Terminate and route power and control cabling; diagnose faults.

Job description

We are currently looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a manufacturing facility based in Lock Haven, PA. This is a permanent, full-time role operating on the first shift, offering a competitive hourly rate between $30 and $35, contingent upon your professional background. Your primary focus will involve the installation, upkeep, repair, and enhancement of electrical infrastructure and production machinery within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Candidates with a background in high-volume production sectors—such as food and beverage, plastics, pharmaceuticals, or packaging—are strongly encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties

• Set up and adjust systems for industrial power distribution.


• Mount transformers, switchgear, disconnect units, distribution panels, and MCCs.


• Help ensure production continuity by routing branch circuits and feeders for new machinery.


• Confirm electrical load limits, phase rotation, and voltage levels.


• Handle the connection and commissioning of production-line machinery.


• Manage the relocation and re-installation of existing manufacturing hardware.


• Mount electrical enclosures, control panels, VFDs, and motors.


• Complete the termination and routing of power and control cabling.


• Improve overall equipment reliability by diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system faults.

Automation & Controls

• Integrate and set up automation systems and PLC-driven equipment.


• Wire field devices including photo eyes, limit switches, and various sensors.


• Ensure signal integrity and verify system communication.


• Validate that equipment is functioning correctly through rigorous testing.

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct system verification and electrical testing procedures.


• Uphold a secure workplace for the entire team by strictly adhering to GMP, LOTO, OSHA, and NEC standards.


• Support operational efficiency by maintaining a safe work environment.


• Execute necessary preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.

Essential Qualifications

• At least six years of professional experience working as an Industrial Electrician within an industrial or manufacturing facility.


• Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints.


• A Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred.


• Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.


• Requirement to supply your own set of standard electrical and hand tools.


• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening as part of our commitment to a drug-free workplace.


• Must possess legal authorization to work within the U.S.
