Job summary

Corvid Technologies-LL in Langtree, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician to support the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for high-end machinery and complex automated systems.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, extensive knowledge of troubleshooting diagnostics for complex machinery, and a strong understanding of industrial safety protocols. Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen, eligible for Secret Clearance.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial electrician experience required.

Job description

Corvid's manufacturing team continues to grow in both size and capabilities, requiring the need to hire a full-time industrial electrician to support new facility set up as well as maintenance of existing systems & infrastructure. We are looking for a hands-on, licensed electrician who enjoys working on high-end, technically challenging projects. In this unique role, the candidate will get to work with a variety of researchers and engineers designing, prototyping and testing advanced weapon systems for various DoW customers.

This unique position will lead the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for new machinery, including robotics, assembly stations, conveyance systems, and machining centers (meeting operational safety standards). The role will also ensure routine maintenance and proactive troubleshooting is completed across Corvid systems. As needed, candidate will work trouble shooting and repair of machinery and other electrical systems, including root cause analysis to identify, document, address recurring failures.

Tasking will include
  • Installation of industrial machinery and systems
  • Troubleshooting and repairing existing electrical systems
  • Routine Maintenance and care for a variety of industrial machines and test equipment
  • Become the in-house electrical expert & key contact for Corvids expanding facilities and manufacturing footprint
Requirements
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen (preferred candidate will meet eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance)
  • Technical School/Apprenticeship graduate with at least 5 years of relevant industrial electrician experience (preferred candidate will be a Master Electrician with the accompanying certifications)
  • Extensive experience with electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of complex machinery, including robotics, CNC machines, and automated systems
  • Candidate should have experience mentoring or training entry level or junior electricians
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of industrial safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and environmental compliance
  • Preferred candidate will have strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems for cross-disciplinary troubleshooting
