Responsibilities

1. Work safely as a top priority by adhering to the plant’s accident prevention policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
2. Safely install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components within the manufacturing plant.
3. Maintain, test, and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems.
4. Develop skills to troubleshoot advanced control systems and instrumentation equipment, including PLC controls.
5. Operate electrical test equipment relevant to the job.
6. Understand NEC codes, become trained in NFPA-70E, and perform electrician duties in a manufacturing environment.
