Job description

Industrial Electrician - 12 Hour Shifts

Pay Rate: $32.25 - $39.55 Hourly
Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Work safely as a top priority by adhering to the plant’s accident prevention policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  2. Safely install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components within the manufacturing plant.
  3. Maintain, test, and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems.
  4. Develop skills to troubleshoot advanced control systems and instrumentation equipment, including PLC controls.
  5. Interpret and use wiring schematics.
  6. Operate electrical test equipment inherent to the job.
  7. Understand NEC codes, train in NFPA-70E, and perform electrician duties in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Possess the technical skills to work safely and proficiently as an electrician in a plant setting.
  2. Have basic mechanical maintenance skills.
  3. Interpret and perform tasks as detailed on work orders.
  4. Have basic computer skills for safety training and email review.
  5. Operate equipment such as forklifts as needed.
  6. Be familiar with and properly use common hand tools.
  7. Show good collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
