Job summary

Specialty Granules LLC is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the Ione, CA Plant. This role offers cross training, opportunities for advancement, and a safe, team-oriented atmosphere for dedicated professionals.

As the Industrial Electrician, you will install, maintain and repair electrical manufacturing equipment across the plant, diagnose issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read service manuals, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, install and demolish plant electrical equipment and machinery (motors, panels, generating equipment, lighting circuits, etc).
• Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical units and controls.
• Ensure quality of work and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and perform safety inspections of the work area.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Pay Rate: $46.54/hr

Shift- 7pm-7am

Essential Function

As the Industrial Electrician, will be responsible to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of electrical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.

Core Competencies

• May perform basic mathematical operations and statistical charting or other record keeping


• Ability to work from service manuals, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions


• Ability to work well with other employees


• Must possess ability with hand/power tools and test apparatus in connection with electrical equipment installation/repair

Job Responsibilities

• As directed, performs activities associated with repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of the plant's electrical equipment and machinery, including motors, panels, generating equipment, lighting circuits, communication systems, etc.


• Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical units and controls


• Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control


• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area


• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.Base Hourly Rate: $46.54
