Responsabilités

• Plan layout and install electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures per job specs and codes.

• Test electrical systems with ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes for safety and compatibility.
• Use power tools, measuring devices, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and related equipment.
• Repair/install electrical devices such as receptacles, lights, and motors.
• Maintain neat, safe electrical spaces and update as-built drawings as needed.

Summary

Chapel Electric is looking for an Industrial Electrician with an ISA Instrumentation Certification. This position pays $37.25 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity.

General Duties And Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
• Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc.
• Assists in keeping building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
• Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes. Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
• Attend Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
• Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
• Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

Education And Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous electrical experience required.
• ISA Instrumentation Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.
