Postalloy® Hardface Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep machinery running per specifications and support facility systems. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, parts management, and collaboration with contractors for repairs and installations.
Responsibilities include operating PLC programs, fabricating parts as needed, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment with strong 5S adherence. Domestic travel may be required, and a valid license is needed.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping all machinery up and running to the equipment specifications, as well as maintaining the facility and all the ancillary support equipment. In addition, the position is critical to new equipment design and installation.
Ability to communicate orally in a clear, concise, and effective manner with co-workers and management in face‑to‑face and group settings. Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance at the facility. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Use of office equipment such as a personal computer and mobile devices may be required. Sit, stand, and/or walk for extended time periods. Must frequently lift, maneuver, and/or pivot up to 65 pounds and occasionally lift, maneuver and/or pivot more than 100 pounds with assistance. Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges. Ability to accurately distinguish color variation. Read at, above, and below shoulder height. Frequently stoop, kneel, or crouch. The manufacturing plant is not climate controlled. Ability to work overtime, call‑in, and flexible schedules/shifts. Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to a positive work environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, chemicals and/or airborne particles, high pressure fluids, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
