Job description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team at our facility located in Cleveland, OH, 44105. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving our manufacturing electrical systems, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, such as communication systems, radios and radio-controlled cranes, gauges and measuring devices, ultrasonic and fluidic equipment, VDTs, PLCs, microprocessors, numerical and programmable controllers, low- and high-voltage power distribution systems, rectifier equipment, and measuring and testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to optimize equipment performance.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Must have either a Journeyman's card OR 4 years of applicable maintenance experience AND a qualifying score on an assessment that is administered by Howmet during the interview process.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Shift Details

Position would be for 2nd or 3rd shift based on the collective bargaining agreement.

Salary
  • Base Wage: $43.56 /hr.
  • Additional Cost-of-Living Adjustment: $4.75 /hr. (in addition to base wage)
  • 2nd shift differential: $0.47 /hr.
  • 3rd shift differential: $0.78 /hr.

Earn 1 week of vacation after 6 months of employment
