Job Description

This role involves performing electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting for industrial construction projects, including new construction, remodels, and plant expansions in an industrial setting. The Electrician will work extensively with galvanized rigid conduit installation and wire pulling on gas compressor station projects and other industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical-related wiring and installation for industrial construction projects, including new construction, remodels, and plant expansions.

• Install, bend, and secure galvanized rigid conduit in an industrial environment.

• Pull, route, and terminate wiring according to project specifications and electrical codes.

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on industrial systems, equipment, and components as needed.

• Work on gas compressor station projects and other industrial facilities, ensuring safe and reliable electrical installations.

• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety standards at all times while working on active construction sites.

• Collaborate with other electricians and construction team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform accurate installations.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.

• Adapt to changing project needs, including varying tasks, schedules, and work priorities on the job site.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of industrial construction experience.

• At least 3 years of experience installing and bending conduit.

• Experience working as an electrician on industrial construction projects such as compressor stations and other gas facilities.

• Proficiency with galvanized rigid conduit installation and wire pulling in industrial settings.

• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting on industrial systems.

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Ability to work safely and effectively on active construction job sites.

• Experience reading and working from electrical drawings and construction documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on gas compressor stations or similar natural gas facilities.

• Familiarity with non-union industrial construction projects.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with a crew on large job sites.

Work Environment

This position is based on an industrial construction job site in West Mifflin, PA, working on a gas compressor station project. The schedule generally consists of 5 or 6 ten-hour shifts per week, with hours subject to change based on project needs. You will be part of a team of approximately 12 on-site employees, including a mix of full-time and project-based workers, collaborating closely to complete complex industrial construction tasks safely and efficiently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
