Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of electrical experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, HMIs and reading electrical schematics.
• Strong safety and OSHA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Observe OSHA and company safety rules and wear proper PPE at all times.
• Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical hazards and take corrective action.
• Understand and apply National Electrical Code requirements.
• Maintain electrical systems for converting and auxiliary equipment; troubleshoot PLC/DCS/HMI systems and related hardware.
• Train technicians to troubleshoot, repair, replace, and calibrate sensors and control devices and associated hardware.
• Participate in machine downtime reduction efforts and machine trials to prevent downtime, quality, and safety issues.

Job description

We are seeking multiple Industrial Electricians for a company we are working with in the Deer Park area. If you have experience with electric systems, able to troubleshoot PLCS, DCS and HMIs and the ability to read electrical schematics, meters and oscilloscopes.

salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Observing all OSHA and company safety rules and using the proper safety equipment at all times. Notifying
• Supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical hazards and taking immediate corrective action. Demonstrating basic.
• National Electrical Code understanding.
• Maintain electrical systems for all converting and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshooting machine breakdowns and malfunctions utilizing working knowledge of programs and tools required to troubleshoot PLC’s, DCS’s, HMI’s and servo systems including electrical schematics, meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Training and assisting technicians to troubleshoot, repair, replace and calibrate all electrical sensing devices (photoelectric, inductive, capacitive, magnetic, pressure, temperature, weight and position sensors), all electrical control devices (AC drives, DC drives, Servo Controllers, contactors, motors, breakers, solenoids power supplies and indicator lights) and all DCS/PLC/HMI hardware (processors, discrete and analog I/O cards, power supplies, network adapters, distributed I/O, operator interfaces such as PanelView, PC based interfaces), and message displays such as RSview.
• Participate in machine down days and machine trials. Based on extensive experience of the machine processes and controls systems, making critical decisions to proactively avoid downtime, quality, scrap, and safety problems.
