Job summary

Doble Engineering is seeking an Industrial Wiring Technician II to join the Production Department. You will assist with and complete the wiring and assembly of Electrical Test Equipment, following schematics to lay out wires and mount components in cabinets.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, soldering, and wiring, with 2–4 years of industrial wiring experience. Safety and teamwork are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; preferably with electronics or electrical technology classes.
• Technical School in Electrical Technology is a plus; additional experience may be considered.
• 2-4 years of experience in Industrial Wiring.
• Reading of Electrical Schematics.
• Circuit board soldering.
• Electrical Wiring, including wire layout / routing.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on small, standard jobs.
• Assist team members in completing tasks and jobs.
• May be asked to assist in different departments.
• Follow written and verbal communications.
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Complete tasks within allotted timeframe.
• Solder PC boards and other electrical connections.
• Mount components on a chassis panel.
• Install finished assemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Complete assembly and wiring of standard units such as Control Pedestals, AC Dielectrics, PMM, RTS, and Wire Transformers.
