Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a hands-on Electrical Test & Troubleshooting Engineer to support production operations for assembling industrial chiller systems. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and controls issues found during end-of-line testing in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with design engineering to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience (4+ years) in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems and electrical components.
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, controls, and system issues identified during end-of-line testing of chiller units.
• Analyze failures and determine root cause of electrical and controls-related problems.
• Support production and operations teams by providing real-time technical assistance on the manufacturing floor.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to recommend design improvements and corrective actions based on recurring production issues.
• Participate in Engineering Change Notice (ECN) activities and support product improvement initiatives.
• Provide on-call support and respond to production issues as needed.
