Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer for our Wisconsin-based team. You will develop electrical controls for custom test equipment, perform wiring, programming, and commissioning of panels, and integrate PLCs, HMIs, servos, VFDs, robotics, and safety systems.

The role emphasizes Solidworks Electrical proficiency, NEC/NFPA/ANSI standards, and CAD-driven schematics.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical design for custom test equipment.
Experience with PLC programming, especially Allen Bradley.
Ability to develop electrical schematics and BOMs.
Experience in panel building, wiring, programming, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing equipment, integration, and improvement initiatives to support advanced manufacturing.
Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing & Technology engineering staff and Operations PLs to ensure schedule attainment and robust documentation for machine development activities.
Design and develop machine electrical controls solutions, safety system integration, schematics, and BOMs.
Engage in panel building, wiring, programming, and commissioning activities.
Integrate PLCs, HMIs, servo and VFD drives, robotics, machine vision, laser marking/welding, material handling, and safety systems.
Emphasize the use of Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
