Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Bismarck, Missouri seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the granule manufacturing plant.

The role ensures safe, reliable operation of motors, control systems, instrumentation, and plant electrical systems while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. The position reports to the Electrical Supervisor and offers a range of benefits and a competitive hourly wage with shifts

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent trade qualification is required or preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with manufacturing, processing, or industrial plant operations is preferred.
Experience in implementing electrical safety and LOTO procedures.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, motors, controls, PLCs; knowledge of Allen Bradley drives and ControlLogix PLC is a plus.
Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and testing PLC automated circuits, motors and motor control circuits.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Knowledge of electrical safety codes and instrumentation sensors.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems.
Diagnose and correct electrical failures using testing and diagnostic equipment.
Maintain and repair motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and instrumentation.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, and related electrical components.
Support plant production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
Assist with equipment upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with MSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and company safety standards.
Follow LOTO procedures and other safety protocols.
Utilize Maximo CMMS and maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
Collaborate with operators, production personnel, and maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues.
