Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. (Steel of West Virginia) is expanding its Long Products Division and seeks an Electrical Technician to support plant maintenance, troubleshoot control circuits, and lead special projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC I/O, RSLogix/Studio, and drive systems in an industrial setting. Candidates should have a tech degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering, and possess strong trouble-shooting abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC I/O on SLC 500, PLC 5, and Allen-Bradley PanelView.
• Experience with RSLogix 5000 and Studio 5000.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and ABB drives.
• Solid-state AC & DC motor controls.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical Eng Tech or Electrical Eng degree is a definite plus.
