Title: Industrial Electrical Technician - Mid
Location: Dayton, OH
Salary: $26.01 - $30.37 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM

Job Description

Here are some daily responsibilities:

  • Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Work with minimal supervision and follow-up.
  • Use hand tools and power tools daily.
  • Work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.
  • Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment.
  • Adhere to the published work schedule, with flexibility based on workload.
  • Perform tasks independently and maintain compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Operate industrial powered vehicles such as forklifts, aerial lifts, etc.
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components, including lighting, motors, and control systems, with knowledge of schematics and safety practices.
  • Perform calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation related to flow, pressure, temperature, and analytical measurements.
  • Wire and terminate motor starters, control and power wires, and install raceways and cable trays following standards.
  • Maintain tools and meet physical requirements of the role.
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
  • Maintain positive relations with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Electronics or Industrial Electricity background; ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License and ISA CCST Level 1 Certification.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in mechanical work and/or 1-2 years in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
Physical Demands

Must be able to observe details at close range, control machinery precisely, manipulate objects quickly, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate various tools and vehicles safely. Ability to work in various environmental conditions and wear protective gear is required.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving parts, heights, chemicals, electrical hazards, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
