Mid-Level Engineering Technician - Position Description

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Mid-Level Engineering Technician to support our Navy customer in a Remote location.

Security Clearance

• Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
  
  
  

Position/Job Description

General Tasking Description:

• Works alongside engineering, developer, and specialist personnel to perform maintenance, installation, fabrication, test and evaluation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of a number of systems and subsystems.
• Perform all tasking via formally documented processes and procedures.
• Provides input into project processes and procedures.
• Produces and reviews low-level technical documents, drawings, and other forms of documentation.
• Mentors and oversees the technical work of one or more Technician (Junior) personnel.
  
  
  

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of professional experience providing engineering support on Navy programs.
• Experience of Shipboard Maintenance on Navy Combatants.
• Familiarity of working in New Ship construction is preferred.
• Familiarity of working on a Shipyard is preferred.
  
  
  

Educational & Certification Requirements
