Job summary

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) in Millbury, MA, seeks an Industrial Electrical Technician. The role requires 1–2 years in an industrial electrical setting, with experience in 480V 3-phase systems and knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910/1926.

Candidates should have their own hand tools, a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and be 70E trained. Field work and some travel are expected, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in an industrial electrical setting.
• Experience with 480 volt, 3 phase systems.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 and 1926.
• Explosion-proof wiring experience is a plus.
• Own hand tools required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• 70E authorized and trained.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper or obtain after employment.
• Able to pass physical/respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and test electrical components such as motors, instrumentation, light fixtures, circuit breakers and transformers.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair of control panels, electric motors and electrical equipment.
• Isolate and repair defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment.
• Bending and installation of conduit (EMT/rigid PVC).
• Pull electrical cables and wires.
• Use electrical hand tools and measurement devices.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Assist maintenance with general maintenance and construction duties.
