Job summary

Service Wire is seeking an Electrical Technician in Houston, TX to repair and install electrical systems on industrial machinery. You will work with wiring, relays, motors, PLCs, and test equipment to diagnose and fix issues on production lines.

The role requires reading blueprints and diagrams, maintaining safety, and collaborating with maintenance teams. Experience with Allen Bradley/Siemens hardware and a willingness to work odd shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Team-oriented with strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect power wiring for machines and equipment per blueprints.
• Diagnose and repair faulty electrical components and systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery and automation using PLC logic and test equipment.
• Program robots/PLC controllers and verify repairs.
• Maintain and repair wiring, relays, switches, and sensors as needed.
