Qualifications

• Our Electrical Technicians repair and install mechanical and electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
• Requires following electrical code, manuals, schematics, and blueprints with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and manuals; problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Installs and connects power supply wiring for new or existing machines and equipment following blueprints and code using hand tools.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures with test equipment and replaces damaged wires.
• Tests machines with test equipment and collaborates with maintenance staff to diagnose faults.
• Replaces faulty components such as relays, switches, and motors and positions sensing devices.
• Repairs electronic components including printed circuit boards with test equipment and tools.
• May program automated machinery using robot controllers and PLCs to verify repairs.
• Plans wiring layouts and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Diagnoses and replaces mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance per current checklists and standards.
• Troubleshoots complex electrical and automation problems on production equipment.
