Job summary

Laphcc in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain industrial machinery and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, and support safety and quality standards on a 2nd shift.

The role requires 5+ years of electrical/controls experience, familiarity with PLCs and drives, and the ability to work independently while documenting activities and communicating findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and industrial control systems.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with electrical installation, wiring, and conduit.
• Prioritize safety and operational uptime in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motor controls, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Install/replace electrical components and perform basic wiring.
• Use meters and testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and shift notes.
• Order parts and manage spare parts inventory as needed.
• Assist with upgrades, modifications, and installation projects.
