Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial electrician for the second shift in Manchester, NH. The role focuses on skilled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with engineering to minimize downtime.

You will work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and pre-engineered systems, developing PM/PdM tasks and ensuring safe operation under ISO 14001 policies. The company offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives and industrial control components.
• Good mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficient with electrical meters and troubleshooting tools.
• AS Degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with CMMS or PM/Work Order tracking systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to minimize machinery downtime.
• Plan conduit, wiring, and electrical layouts for new/relocated equipment.
• Maintain electrical controls including PLCs, drives and motor controllers.
• Develop PM and PdM programs for electrical systems.
• Document work orders, inventory, shift notes, and logs.
• Coordinate with engineering and supervise contractor work.
