Job summary

R.D. Graham Electric, LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee industrial electrical projects, manage field crews, and ensure safety, efficiency, and top-quality work.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and rigid metal conduit installation, with the ability to read drawings, troubleshoot complex systems, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations and systems.
• Hands-on experience with motor controls and industrial motor circuits.
• Experience with VFD installation, wiring, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, control wiring, and debugging.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate industrial electrical crews and subcontractors on job sites.
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage manpower to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of motor controls, motor starters, control circuits, and industrial control panels.
• Understand, install, troubleshoot, and support VFDs and motor control systems.
• Coordinate equipment installations, terminations, control wiring, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, control diagrams, specifications, and project drawings.
• Ensure proper installation of conduit, wire, cable tray, equipment, panels, disconnects, and industrial electrical systems.
• Identify potential field issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop practical solutions.
