Job summary

DSG is seeking an Industrial Electrical Regional Sales Manager for the North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming regions. You will lead the planning, directing and monitoring of regional sales activities, including responsibility for the Engineered UL508A panel shop in South Dakota, serving the DSG footprint.

The role requires coaching a high performing team and driving market share growth. Heavy travel is required as you develop key accounts, manage vendor relationships, and deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Five years of field selling experience in the Electrical industry, with three to five years in sales management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead a diverse group of customers and vendors.
• High level of analytical ability to interpret data and solve problems in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, retain and develop a top performing Outside Sales team.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive market share and gross profit.
• Develop annual sales and margin budgets for existing and new customers to meet objectives.
• Oversee engineered panel shop sales demand and manage program responsibility with vendor relationships.
• Regularly review account performance and ensure alignment with regional objectives.
• Lead and coach the sales team to maximize market share and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors to ensure service excellence.
• Lead pricing proposals and strategic plans for key accounts.
• Monitor market activity and product performance to stay profitable.
• Manage expenses related to sales activities and inventory levels to meet regional goals.
