Job summary

Classic Packaging Company in Pfafftown, NC is seeking an experienced electrical technician to install, maintain, and repair food-safe industrial equipment. You will diagnose electrical faults, configure motors and sensors, and troubleshoot PLCs in a GMP environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, NFPA 70 knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with pay between $25 and $35 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing food-safe industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 National Electric Code and electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, and overhauls electrical components of production equipment.
• Install and configure motors, sensors, and controls on lines.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automation devices; diagnose faults quickly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with PPE requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervision.
