Job summary

QXO in Florida is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and facility systems in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on industrial electrical systems and controls. You will perform preventive maintenance and support reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience with three-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical panels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience
• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
• Diagnose and repair motors, contactors, relays, transformers, and electrical components
• Install, configure, and calibrate VFDs and motor-control components
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and equipment documentation
• Support electrical upgrades and modifications as authorized
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment service histories
