Job summary
Magnera Corporation in Old Hickory, TN is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in our manufacturing facility. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient production operations.
The role requires reading schematics, testing, and collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in electrical maintenance or a related field.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, NEC requirements, and industrial controls.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motors, drives, and control panels.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals; respond to downtime and ensure safety.
