Jobot in Illinois is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st or 2nd shift. You will maintain, repair, and optimize our industrial electrical equipment and systems.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, proficiency with 110/227/480V, motors, and controls. You will read schematics and blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment including 110v, 227v, and 480v systems, motors, and electrical controls.
Interpret and apply information from schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery, maintain parts inventories, and prepare detailed maintenance reports.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize maintenance procedures and ensure safety and efficiency.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
