Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc., a world-leading corrugated packaging manufacturer, seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for our 100% recycled paper mill in Shreveport, LA. You will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems to maximize uptime on the Paper Machine, Winder, and related equipment.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, bending conduit, pulling wire, directing electrical contractors, and planning shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical diploma in a related electrical field.
• NJATC or equivalent program in the electrical industry preferred.
• Experience in maintenance of an industrial manufacturing facility is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot intermediate to advanced electrical and control systems.
• Read work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and supervise contractors during shutdowns.
• Plan and coordinate shutdown activities; perform safe, documented maintenance.
