Job summary

Emerson Florham Park, NJ seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and validate PCBA assemblies, develop analog/digital circuitry, and manage lifecycle of hardware products. You will select components, perform prototyping, debugging, and support global certifications.

You will work across manufacturing, test and quality teams to drive product releases and improvements, with emphasis on lifecycle management and compliant hardware development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in electronic hardware or PCBA design and schematic capture.
• Hands-on soldering, prototype assembly and hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with regulatory and EMC safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital circuits and PCBAs for industrial/embedded systems.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout; Altium Designer a plus.
• Evaluate components based on performance, cost, and lifecycle.
• Support compliance evaluation for UL, CE, CCC, EMC standards.
• Build and test hardware prototypes; perform PCBA assembly and debugging.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, quality and supply chain teams on releases.
