Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise crews on industrial projects across Northern California. The role focuses on managing electrical scope, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of electrical experience with foreman or lead roles, a Journeyman Electrician license preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills for on-site management and coordination with project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience; foreman or lead experience preferred.
• Experience on industrial electrical projects — rigid pipe, cut and thread, and classified/explosion-proof work strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership to manage crews and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices on job sites.
• Manage electrical scope including installation, repair, and inspection.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Plan and run daily work; assign tasks and manage crew productivity.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades.
• Maintain daily reports, timecards, and material lists.
• Train and mentor crew members.
