This role covers power distribution, instrumentation, controls, grounding, and classified-area installations, requiring strong analytical skills and proficiency with industry software. Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating in EPC/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, API, ISA, IEEE.
• Proficient with estimating software: Accubid, McCormick, Electrical Bid Manager.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
• Ability to read complex electrical drawings and multi-discipline packages.
• Experience evaluating labor productivity and bid pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts, specs, and standards.
• Prepare detailed labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect cost estimates for EPC bids.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and construction teams to confirm scope and risk.
• Develop installation labor strategies for industrial electrical systems.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level vendor/subcontractor quotations and bids.
• Apply NEC, NFPA, API, ISA, IEEE codes to estimates.
• Maintain historical cost data and estimating templates for bids.
• Prepare bid packages, exhibits, and cost summaries for review.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and transition to field team after award.
