Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
5–10+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience, EPC or design-build preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment, protection systems, and industry standards.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, or similar tools.
Ability to travel to project sites and vendor facilities (<5%).

Responsibilities

Develop electrical design packages including low-, medium-, and high-voltage power distribution, MCCs, grounding, lighting, and cable tray systems.
Prepare and maintain electrical deliverables: one-line diagrams, load lists, panel schedules, sizing calculations, and protective device coordination studies.
Specify equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS) with project management and procurement teams.
Provide technical leadership during design and construction, supporting installation, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure compatibility with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NEMA, IEC and project-specific requirements.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across project lifecycle.
Review vendor drawings, resolve discrepancies, and align with specs.
Support project execution through schedule coordination and cost tracking.
