Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking an E&C Technician (Finance) to implement and maintain electrical power circuits and control and automation systems across pipeline, pump, and measurement facilities.

The role requires an Associates degree in a technical field, strong knowledge of electrical measurement instruments, and experience with electrical blueprints and the National Electric Codes. Travel and compliance with safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited institution in a technical field or a related discipline.
• Understand and operate electronic test instruments.
• Working knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope).
• Working knowledge of National Electric Codes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and adjust various control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
• Perform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing and troubleshooting.
• Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing.
