Job summary

Tnemec Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Baltimore manufacturing operations. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC/VFD work, and preventive maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will work with automated systems, read schematics, and document repairs and maintenance history in our CMMS. A strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience.
Experience with three-phase 480V electrical systems and PLCs.
Able to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Strong safety mindset and ability to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair three-phase 480V electrical systems, motors, controllers, and related components.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs used in automated manufacturing processes.
Diagnose and repair VFDs and industrial production equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime.
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and work orders.
