Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join the Thermal & Specialized Solutions team at the Corpus Christi Plant in Ingleside, TX. The role provides E&I engineering guidance to Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams and involves day-to-day troubleshooting, safety initiatives, reliability improvements, and capital project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Entry level of experience in related industrial/manufacturing work or Military Equivalent Experience (co-op or intern).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer focus.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems with data-based decisions.
• Willing to wear PPE and work in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and troubleshooting support for unit processes, including synthesis, refining, storage, and shipping operations.
• Support cost and capital projects to improve safety, quality, environment, and cost; justify and coordinate installations.
• Provide technical expertise for systems including instruments and electrical controls; support RCFA and LOPA analyses.
• Lead safety, reliability and quality investigations to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide shift/weekend coverage for start-ups, tests, maintenance Turnarounds; travel <10%.
