Job summary

The Chemours Corpus Christi facility in Ingleside, Texas seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Reliability Engineer to safeguard long-term performance of electrical distribution and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing setting. You will report to the Site Maintenance and Reliability Manager and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams to solve complex issues.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of related experience, knowledge of NEC/NFPA

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of electrical/instrumentation/reliability engineering in manufacturing.
Experience with electrical distribution, low/medium/high voltage, motor control centers, switchgear, relays.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise for the reliability, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
Support safe, reliable operation of electrical distribution systems and related infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, hazardous locations, and site safety practices.
Lead/participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses, kaizen events, and problem-solving.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop and improve preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
