Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment in a on-site environment. The role emphasizes safety, effective communication, and diligent documentation of work results.

You will conduct shift rounds, troubleshoot issues, and complete tasks with quality workmanship, adhering to OSHA standards and company procedures while collaborating with site staff and, when needed,

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required; preference for trade or business school training.
• At least 3 years’ experience servicing and maintaining dock levelers, doors, and related hardware.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics, power supply, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, and basic rigging.
• AAADM certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Abides by OSHA regulations and safety guidelines including lock-out/tag-out and PPE.
• Conducts shift rounds to check systems and equipment and document performance.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment; may work with guidance of more experienced techs.
• Document work results in CMMS and communicate status and completion dates to customers.
