Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is offering a paid 12-week summer internship with the Northeast Distribution Supply team. You will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory, communications, sales, and ERP systems, culminating in a leadership-presented project.

Participants will learn forklift operation, shipping/receiving, and inventory controls while supporting a fast-paced distribution environment. Housing and transportation arrangements must be provided by you.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution.

Responsibilities

What you will learn:

Warehouse Operations

• Forklift certification

• Inventory management, bin adjustments, cycle counts

• Gain knowledge of a premier distribution software program

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week


• May be required to work on rotating Saturdays


• Must provide own housing and transportation

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.


• Ability to work in a unconditioned warehouse environment


• Continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, carrying

Educational Requirements And/or Experience Required

• Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution


• No prior warehouse experience necessary
