Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is offering a paid 12-week summer internship with the Northeast Distribution Supply team. Participants will engage in warehouse operations, inventory, communications, sales, and ERP Systems, gaining practical supply chain experience in a supportive environment.

Throughout the program, you will handle hands-on tasks, learn forklift operations, and complete a capstone project presented to leadership and managers at program end.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution.
• No prior warehouse experience necessary.
• Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, order pulling and stocking, and inventory management.
• Develop knowledge of ERP systems and how a premier distribution software program is used in daily operations.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week


• May be required to work on rotating Saturdays


• Must provide own housing and transportation

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.


• Ability to work in a unconditioned warehouse environment


• Continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, carrying
