Job summary

Rheem Northeast Distribution Supply is offering a paid 12-week summer internship in New Jersey. You will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, communications, sales, and ERP systems in a busy distribution environment.

You’ll learn forklift basics, shipping/receiving, order pulling, bin adjustments, and cycle counts, and you’ll complete a capstone project presented to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution.
• No prior warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to commit to 12 weeks full-time (40 h/wk).

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Learn ERP system basics and order fulfillment processes.
• Present a capstone project to leadership at internship end.

What you will learn:

• Gain knowledge of a premier distribution software program

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work the full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week
• May be required to work on rotating Saturdays
• Must provide own housing and transportation

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.
• Ability to work in a unconditioned warehouse environment
• Continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, carrying

Educational Requirements and/or Experience Required
