Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Logistics or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related field.
• 2 years owning engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• 2 years using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
• 2 years engineering experience in industrial, logistics, distribution, or related environments.
• 2 years in AutoCAD, REVIT or other CAD programs.
• 2 years dealing with ambiguity, data analysis and analytical skills.
• 2 years in solution optimization, value engineering, and process development.
• 2 years managing engineering or design projects.
• 2 years using REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite.
• 1 year of experience in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• As an Industrial Designer on R2L Design team, support rapid expansion of Rural Delivery and Sub Same Day.
• Create detailed technical drawings for material handling systems, workspaces, and storage configurations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver cost-effective solutions on time.

Location: Bellevue, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Design and develop engineering solutions for complex material handling challenges considering human/equipment interactions for the Sub Same Day delivery network.

2. As an Industrial Designer on Amazon's Rural and Rapid Logistics (R2L) Design team, support the rapid expansion of Rural Delivery and Sub Same Day delivery.

3. Design and optimize delivery and sortation networks by creating detailed technical drawings for material handling systems, workspaces, and storage configurations, ensuring

compliance with safety, efficiency, and operational standards.

1. Lead design reviews, identify engineering optimizations, and implement scalable processes that improve operational throughput.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver cost-effective solutions on time and within budget.

3. Influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, and establish design standards ensures the successful deployment of innovative technologies that align with Amazon's logistics goals.

4. Provide technical leadership for process flows for building program.

5. Domestic travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $99300 - $160000)

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation on Design/ Innovation, Process/ Industrial Engineering or related field.

Experience must include:

1. 2 years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related occupation;

2. 2 years of experience in ownership/management of engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

3. 2 years of experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.

4. 2 years of engineering experience in industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, architectural, robotics, production environment

5. 2 years of experience AutoCAD, REVIT or any other CAD program.

6. 2 years of experience dealing with ambiguity, data analysis and analytical skills.

7. 2 years of experience in solution optimization, value engineering, best fit analysis (design and data), process development.

8. 2years of experience managing engineering or design projects.

9. 2 years of experience using business/technical software such as REVIT, Auto CAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite.

10. 1 year of experience in Project Management.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $99300 - $160000 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by Washington Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
