Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field with 3 years of direct experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Experience using business/technical software such as MS Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, BIM360, PowerBI, and AutoCAD.
• Experience leading engineering design projects and managing design/innovation efforts.
• Experience in design/innovation engineering, manufacturing/process/industrial engineering.
• Experience applying Lean principles to process design.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging tech, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and document scalable design and process elements across the global AMXL network.
• Innovate fulfillment and transportation processes through manufacturing, production, and distribution experience.
• Scale pilots into standard solutions across regions and drive adoption of design innovations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer value, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Analyze data to identify root causes of performance issues and drive resolutions.
• Incorporate post-launch feedback and customer insights into future planning cycles.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Transportation, and Site Launch to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop building layouts, templates, and engineering designs for new site launches and retrofits.
• Build and apply mathematical models to monitor capacity, utilization, and network performance.
• Use analytical and quantitative tools to support data-driven design and optimization decisions.
• Translate business requirements into Building Requirement Specifications (BRS).
• Lead execution of engineering pilots and emerging design concepts aligned with long-term network plans.
• Address cross-functional gaps to prevent failure modes and ensure cohesive project execution.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly to senior leaders and influence data-driven decisions.
• Partner globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers.

Multiple Positions Available:

• 1. Standardize and document scalable design and process elements across the global AMXL network using lean and process management principles.
• 2. Innovate fulfillment and transportation processes by applying experience in manufacturing, production, and distribution.

• 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Supply Chain, Transportation, and Site Launch—to support strategic network initiatives.
• 8. Develop building layouts, templates, and engineering designs for new site launches and retrofits.
• 9. Build and apply mathematical models to monitor capacity, utilization, and overall network performance.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $144477 - $160000 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by Washington Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
